The Humane Teen of the Year Award recognizes a teenager who has made a significant contribution to animal protection, such as direct work on behalf of animals, aiding in the passage of humane legislation, or educating others to be kind to animals. To be eligible for the Humane Teen of the Year Award, you must

be between the ages of 13 and 19.

submit your application and supporting materials, along with a note or e-mail of parental consent by November 15, 2009.

have made a meaningful, preferably long-term contribution to animal protection and express a sincere interest in protecting animals.
